ALL BENGAL KHO-KHO CHAMPIONSHIP ORGANIZED IN SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 25th September, 2015: All Bengal Kho-Kho Championship (Men’s & Women’s) 2015, was organized by Siliguri Mahakuma Kho-Kho Association (SMKA) under the aegis of West Bengal Kho-Kho Association’s (WBKA) Ad-hoc Committee.  The gala opening was held today at Ramkrishna Maidan, Ashrampara, Siliguri. The tournament is supposed to be continued till tomorrow.

In the inauguration the dignified guests present were Mr. Suresh Sharma, Secretary of West Bengal Khokho Association, Mr. Ajit Banerjee, President of Bengal Olympic Association, Mr. Sankar Prasad Bhowmik, Secretary of West Bengal Kho-Kho Ad-Hoc Committee, Mr. Nantu paul, Opposition Leader (SMC), Mrs. Rita Jana Ex- National Kho-Kho player and others. The teams that participated were from Aliopurduar, Purba Midnapur Burdwan, North 24 Parganas, PDMSSPA Siliguri, Howrah, Paschim Midnapur, Uttar Dinajpur, Malda, Murshidabad, Coochbehar & Hooghly.
